Confession time! I haven’t always been a coffee lover; I know I can hear the gasp from all you coffee drinkers out there! But, once I discovered coffee, okay iced-coffee, more specifically Iced Caramel Macchiato’s, my world changed.
So not that I need an excuse to drink coffee. I’m a regular coffee loving girl now. But I thought it would be fun to put together a list of coffee recipes to celebrate International Coffee Day. Yeah, it’s a real thing.
Never let another cup of coffee go to waste by using one of these awesome recipes to reuse old coffee grounds, make a body scrub, create desserts, or make a delicious iced coffee beverage to sip and enjoy.
Come on, let’s brew up something new together; celebrate International Coffee Day with a fresh coffee treat!
Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino – It’s that time of year again; this one reminds me of one of those popular coffee house drinks, only for a fraction of the cost.
It’s creamy and delicious, only takes a few ingredients and so easy to whip up at home.
Caramel Iced Coffee – Yum! This one has my name on it. I love a great caramel flavored coffee drink, and let’s skip right to the best part, it’s iced!
Yep, this caramel iced coffee, just saying those words makes me want one is so flavorful and creamy, it’s divine.
Easy Coffee Cake – Okay, so this isn’t exactly a coffee recipe nor does it contain any coffee ingredients but it does have the word coffee in the name!
I included this in my list of 15 Awesome Coffee Recipes because it is moist and delicious and a perfect choice to celebrate International Coffee Day with your favorite hot or iced coffee whether you enjoy it during breakfast, brunch, dessert or a special treat all on its own.
Coffee Body Scrub – I love creating and using home-made body scrubs!
Coffee contains antioxidants that can help reduce inflammation, unsightly redness, improve the appearance of skin (some swear by it for reducing the look of cellulite) sloughs dead skin cells to reveal new vibrant ones, and more.
This coffee body scrub smells so delicious you’re going to want to eat it but don’t!
Coffee Granita Parfait – As most of you know my favorite type of coffee is flavored iced coffee. So, when I came across this frozen coffee treat, it took my
obsession I mean my preference for cold coffee to the next level!
It takes a little work to make, but don’t let that stop you, cause it’s oh so worth it baby!
Coffee and Walnut Cupcakes – The finished cupcake looks so pretty and downright fancy. But don’t let looks intimidate you, I promise it’s such a quick and easy recipe to make and one you will be proud to serve to your friends and family.
And, really who doesn’t love the combination of chocolate, coffee, and buttercream icing (can I get an AMEN) topped with walnuts? I know this girl does!
DIY Blended Coffee – My favorite non-dairy alternative to cow’s milk is almond milk.
I love experimenting with all kinds of nut-milks, this recipe is made with cashew milk and is a must-try!
Peppermint Frappuccino – Only three ingredients. Say what???
Yep, just three. This recipe is perfect for those who want a quick, refreshing pick me up any time of day!
Protein Coffee – As a health coach, when helping clients to eat healthier; I always promote adding a protein to every meal.
I love that this coffee recipe includes a scoop of protein. It makes it so easy to add to your menu to get a boost of protein, and you will feel satisfied and satiated with this protein coffee drink.
I give this coffee recipe two thumbs up!
Strawberry Rhubarb Coffee Cake – If you haven’t cooked or baked a recipe with Rhubarb, you need to!
It’s such a versatile vegetable, but can sometimes be hard to find. Check in the fresh fruits/veggies section of your local grocery store, or if you have a farmer’s market. It can be found in the freezer section too!
A few years ago, I was obsessed with using Rhubard. I created three muffin recipes using Rhubarb: Strawberry Surprise Muffins, Scrumptious Apple Coconut Muffins, and Heavenly Peach Bran Muffins.
This coffee cake recipe combines strawberries and Rhubarb, such a great combination.
Cookies and Cream Frappe – Ice cold coffee with coffee ice cream topped with cookies?
Do I honestly need to say more?
Vanilla Iced Coffee – This recipe gives you lots of options of how to make a vanilla-flavored iced coffee, from filtered coffee to cold-brewed to even using instant.
Keto Iced Caramel Macchiato – Iced Caramel Macchiato coffee drinks are my favorite!
Truth be told, I am obsessed at times. Hey, that’s okay; not all obsessions are a terrible thing! : )
If you’re interested in an iced coffee beverage that uses a sugar alternative, this is it!
It still has all the delicious flavor without the calories of refined sugar.
Win-win in my book!
Salted Caramel Iced Coffee – I know, I know
you’ve heard you’ve read it before, but I have to ask. Is there anything better than iced caramel coffee?
